Why country music ?
~ We love the story telling that comes along with country music. It's such a nice change from typical pop music. Plus Jess grew up in Texas so it's in her blood!
If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ Wow that's a tough one. I think if Patsy Cline were alive today it would be amazing to hear her sing with someone like Miranda Lambert. Old country meets new country!
What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ It would have to be 'What If'. It's extremely personal for me (Jess) and probably one of the most emotional songs I've written.
Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ Probably Brett James. He's written so many hits over the years. Ultimately we'd love to write with him!
Whisky wine beer or water?
~ All of the above!
Give us one country song you never want to hear on radio anymore and
tell us why.
~ Honky Tonk Badonkadonk... Do we really have to say why?! The title alone is enough, definitely not on the list of our favourite songs.
What is the question interviewers never seem to ask you and...you wish they would? (Please provide your answer as well.)
~ Would you like a glass of wine? Yes please!
Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ You know, these days recording studios are becoming few and far between. Somewhere that is relaxing and feels like home. You spend 8-10 hours a day in the studio and it's nice to be able to relax. A bed of some sort would be nice too haha.
Johnny or June ?
~ Johnny, always has to be Johnny.
Are you still nervous before going on stage and if so, do you use any
"rituals" to calm you nerves.
~ We always get a little nervous! I think that's a good thing. The minute you aren't nervous is when you can be off your game. We don't have a lot of rituals. Jess likes to pray before and we all try to get excited with lots of energy!
What was the most memorable day in your musical career and tell us why.
~ Probably the moment we found out we debuted at #6 in the official UK Country Charts
