Why country music ?

If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ Dwight Yoakam & I
What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ That’s a hard question…… I have several that I treasure, but if I have to choose one it must be "Keep on Keeping On" It’s about a couple of outlaw country artists that I look up to. They never made it big time but they never gave up music. I admire them for never giving up. They just keep on keeping on no matter how hard it is. And that’s how life can be towards us all,we have to fight for what we believe in. And I think this song says it all.
Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ I collaborate with some of Norway’s finest songwriters. I’m truly blessed to have such great people around me. And it’s working well, but if Keith Richards wrote me a song I would’nt say no.
Whisky wine beer or water?
~ Beer & Water
What is the question interviewers never asked you while you were always hoping they would. (and give us your answer)?
~ Did you choose to do music or is it something you can’t live without?
I think the music picked me in a way. I have always listened to music that gives me strenght through beautiful melodies and lyrics. There’s been artists who have helped me through some hard times and If I could do the same for others it would be a blessing. Making songs and performing is helping me survive. Sometimes music is your best shrink….
Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ It would be a place out in the countryside where we could stay for weeks just focusing on playing music together and where we could go for a swim or a walk in our breaks. That would be the perfect environment.
Johnny or June ?
~ Johnny. I admire June very much as well.
