Why country music ?
~ I grew up all around country music. My mother, along with other family, were alway’s jamming out country tunes at different venues. Let’s just say I’ve seen alot of kitchen parties over the years. Needless to say it kind of came natural to me. I did go through my rock n’ roll years and still today I am a big fan. But I couldn’t get away from my unmistakable country voice so I went with it. It all good though. We were able to spice up my ‘Hold On Tight" album with a little rock and country. The perfect mix for me!

If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ Keith Whitley and Patty Loveless. Two of the best country voices in country music history as far as I’m concerned.

What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ The title track "I Won’t Fall" of my second album released here in Canada would have to be the song closest to heart. I wrote this song at a time in my career where i was dowm on my luck and wasn’t sure if i could go on. I picked up my guitar one night and it just came out. I feel writing this song turned things around for me and got me going again.

Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ Keith Urban. I really like his style of writing. Would actually love to do some co-writing with him. That would be awesome!

Whisky wine beer or water?
~ Nothing like a cold beer on a hot summer day…. winter day… fall or spring! It really doesn’t matter! Ha! Ha!

If you could turn back time to make only one change, what would you change?
~ Nothing! The only way we learn and progress is to learn from our mistakes and misfortunes in life, so i wouldn’t change anything.

Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ A studio that has rooms to stay in with room serve with a large screen television. Also a lounge room with beer on tap and all the food you can it. Not sure how much recording would get done but it sounds like a lot of fun!

Johnny or June ?
~ In my opinion, neither. I’m not a big fan of either of them but if I had to choose it would be Johnny. More accomplished artist as far as I’m concerned.

Are you still nervous before going on stage and if so, do you use any “rituals” to calm you nerves.
~ I do get a little nervous still to this day but i think it’s a good thnig. It keeps you on your toes so to speak.

What was the most memorable day in your musical career and tell us why.
~ Its going to happen on the 5th of March. Heading to China for a week to perform 5 shows. CHINA! Can you believe it? I’ll remember this for the rest of my life. I’m pumped!
