Why country music ?
~ Why not country music? I grew up with it. What I like about it is that it tells a story.

If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ Hank Sr. and Elvis

What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ Its hard to pick a favorite when you have songs like Kiss This, You’ve Got to Stand for Something, Stars and Stripes and Eagle Fly , Working Man’s PhD…I just can’t pick a favorite I like them all.

Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ Well I actually wrote or co wrote all of hits except for one. I enjoy writing my own songs. I am always listening and looking for a good song title.

Whisky wine beer or water?
~ Wine. I was a beer kinda guy until I met Thea my wife that all changed. She got me hooked on wine. We have even produced some wine of our own. It’s a fun process to make wine.

What is the question interviewers never asked you while you were always hoping they would. (and give us your answer)?
~ Oh I wish you hadn’t ask me that

Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ One that is away from the hustle and bustle of town. Back in the woods quite peaceful, and full of inspiration. Sounds a lot like our studio at the house I prefer to stay near home as much as I can that is why we built the studio at the farm

Give us your top 3 country songs ever.
~ David Ball Texas Echo
    Hank Williams Sr. Ramblin’ Man
    Porter Wagoner Caroll County Accident

We love to bring our readers exclusive scoops, so what would you like to share with us ?
~ September 14th I will be on GAC show called, “Day Jobs.” They followed me around for a day and I demonstrated what it was like to be a pilot. I was a pilot before I was a country music singer. Thats what the show is all about, the jobs country music artist had before they were country music artist.
