Why country music ?
~ My parents love the old school country music and I was raised on it . While I was playing rock music through my early years my dad always said I’d come around! Ha! He was right! The one thing country music really taught me was that every word and story should be real and heart felt, something I feel today’s country and music in general is really lacking these days.
If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ I would have to put together the two voices that I truly love with George Jones and Emmylou Harris. I had the chance to meet Emmylou last year at The Americana Music Awards in Nashville.
What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ Would have to be ‘ Thirty Year Run’ the song I wrote for my grandfather about his work for thirty years in the pulp and paper industry to help raise 6 kids. This song came out of me like no other song I have ever written…it is about who and what is close to me in life! Family!
Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Merle Haggard
Whisky wine beer or water?
~ Whiskey! hands down!
What is the question interviewers never asked you while you were always hoping they would. (and give us your answer)?
~ How about " have you ever written an entire song while standing in your underwear at 4am under a dim bathroom light trying not to wake up your wife and kids because it woke you up and you had to get it written down?"
-Why yes I have…… would be my answer. And it turned out to be a song I recorded months later.
Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ A place where you feel comfortable and are surrounded by people that share your same passion for music..

~ Well…. I am just heading in to the studio to record my 4th album and you should see it’s release at the start of the new year. Also I made my first music video this year for the song ‘North Wind’ . It has been getting great reviews and being played alongside Allison Krauss & Union Station throughout the US.
