Why country music ?
~ It’s a music that smells roots, authentic and, like all the traditionnals musics, country is completely intemporal and will keep on delivering messages through the time.

If everything would be possible (waking the dead included) , which two people should sing the ultimate country duet?
~ Ha! Not really a duet but, I’d like to bring together again all the Carter Family members, for just one new 2016 song.

What song you ever recorded means the most to you and why?
~ If I had to choose one, I’ll answer a cover one : “Swing Low Sweet Chariot”, cause it’s the really one that made me understand how much I love the country genre, how much some country songs can give off something really strong, and how much my voice is happy by singing this kind of songs!

Who would you like to write a song for you?
~ Johnny or June Carter Cash….and I hope that they send me some inspiration from where they are, for music…and for love!

Whisky wine beer or …?
~ Wine! I’m french, I can’t hesitate, I choose a good red one!

Give us one country song you never want to hear on radio anymore and tell us why.
~ Unfortunatly, French radios do not diffuse country music, so I miss more to hear one than the reverse !

What is the question interviewers never seem to ask you and…you wish they would? (Please provide your answer as well.)
~ Really…I don’t know !

Describe the ultimate recording studio (not the technique but the facilities)
~ For YOUNGSTOWN, we recorded all the album at home, in our own home studio, so I would say that it was rather relaxed and convenient. Everything close at hand…under the watchful eye of the cat !

Johnny or June ?
~ I choose the complete couple! Johnny for his charism, his voice and his strength, June for her charism, her voice and her sweetness.

Are you still nervous before going on stage and if so, do you use any “rituals” to calm you nerves.
~ Yes I am ! I’m really demanding with myself and a little bit shy, but I’m lucky to have my 2 acolytes, Lionel and James. All together we are like a family and we always give each other a big accolade just before we go on stage, that’s enough to feel good!

What was the most memorable day in your musical career and tell us why.
~ I think that the most memorable day (for the moment!) was our first concert, when we understood how much people in the public were enjoying what we were giving on stage.
